A Symphony of Styles: a transitional kitchen
The heart of their home, the kitchen, was thought with a modern-transitional kitchen design in mind. The pursuit of perfection led the team help the client select slab-front cabinet doors, for a sense of simplicity and sophistication.
The cabinets, featuring the Wellborn MDF Milan Door style in the Gauntlet stain color, set the tone for the entire space. They are a classic, offering a clean canvas for their dream kitchen to take shape.
Pullouts Everywhere, Deep Drawers and a Dreamy Pantry
One of the defining features of this transitional kitchen is the abundance of pullouts cleverly integrated into the cabinetry. From pots and pans to utensils and spices, these pullouts maximize space efficiency, while ensuring that everything is within arm’s reach. A meticulous attention to detail that highlights the clients’ commitment to creating a functional yet aesthetically pleasing space.
Deep drawers, a hallmark of contemporary kitchens, offer ample storage for cookware and dishware, making organization a breeze. Complementing these drawers is a spacious pantry, a sanctuary of kitchen organization, where dry goods and kitchen essentials find their designated spots. Pullouts Everywhere, Deep Drawers and a Dreamy Pantry
“The devil is in the details,” and these clients certainly paid attention to this adage. Their choice of hardware, the Top Knobs Amwell Brushed Nickel, adds a touch of understated elegance to the cabinetry. The brushed nickel finish perfectly complements the cabinet doors, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
To elevate this transitional kitchen’s sophistication, we opted for countertops and backsplashes in Cambria Annica Polished, a material that mimics the luxurious look of marble without its maintenance. The polished surface reflects the light, creating a luminous ambiance that beckons you to embrace the art of culinary creation.
Though, what truly sets this kitchen apart is the masterful use of the Cambria Annica Polished countertop material as the backsplash. As you step into the kitchen, it immediately draws your eyes to this remarkable feature.
The use of book matching, where slabs of the countertop material are cut and arranged so that the patterns mirror each other like a set of opened pages in a book, is a testament to this carefully designed art wall.
A Sink Worth Celebrating
At the center of the kitchen island masterpiece lies the Kohler Stages Workstation Sink, a culinary marvel designed to cater to every kitchen need. This 45-inch undermount workstation sink offers a spacious and versatile workspace, complete with integrated accessories that transform the sink into a culinary hub. Its sleek design seamlessly integrates with the kitchen’s aesthetics while providing practicality and convenience.
The Finishing Touch: Sink Faucet
The family’s dedication to detail extends to every facet of the kitchen, including the sink faucet. They selected the Hansgrohe Axor Montreux Polished Nickel faucet, an embodiment of timeless elegance. This faucet not only enhances the kitchen’s aesthetics but also ensures efficient water flow and temperature control, making meal preparation and cleanup a breeze.
The Pinnacle of Appliances
To complete their culinary haven, the family chose a selection of top-tier appliances from Kitchen Aid, Wolf, and Zephyr. These appliances represent the pinnacle of innovation, ensuring that the kitchen is equipped to handle every culinary challenge. From precision cooking to efficient ventilation, these appliances blend seamlessly with the kitchen’s design while delivering unmatched performance.
A Dazzling Backsplash
No modern kitchen is complete without a captivating backsplash, that we introduced in a featured wall at the bar area.
We used a marble design featuring mother of pearl accents, a breathtaking fusion of natural beauty and contemporary design. This backsplash serves as a focal point, adding a touch of opulence and artistic flair to the space.
